These certificates verify the domain name and some information about the organization that owns the website, such as its name, location, and legal status. They are more expensive and take longer to obtain than DV certificates, but they provide more assurance to the website visitors about the legitimacy of the website owner. They are suitable for business websites that handle confidential data.
These certificates provide the highest level of validation and trust. They verify the domain name and the full identity and legal existence of the organization that owns the website, as well as its compliance with strict security standards. They are the most expensive and take the longest to obtain, but they display the organization’s name in the browser’s address bar and a green padlock icon, which can increase the confidence and conversion rate of the website visitors. They are suitable for e-commerce websites or websites that handle sensitive financial or personal data.
