Using your phone in our Europe Zone

When travelling to Europe, roaming in our the oO2 Europe Zone will be included in your UK allowance. So your minutes, texts, and data will work in our the O2 Europe Zone, just like they do at home.

You'll be able to make and receive calls and send and receive texts, like you'd normally do in the UK.

  • Roaming in Europe is part of our standard tariffs.
  • Roam using your phone across 48 destinations and call and text back to the UK at no extra cost.
  • Your minutes, texts, and data allowances will work in our Europe Zone, just like they do at home.
  • Our Europe Zone includes all EU/EAA countries and the Channel Islands, Switzerland and Monaco.

What about data?

When you use data in any of the 48 countries in our Europe Zone you have your full UK monthly allowance available to you. It’ll come out of your monthly allowance, just like it would in the UK, as long as you’re on an eligible tariff.


What’s included at no extra charge?

  • Making calls and sending texts within our Europe Zone.
  • Receiving calls and texts in our Europe Zone.
  • Making calls and sending texts to the UK from our Europe Zone.
  • Receiving calls and texts from the UK while you are in our Europe Zone.

Customer Portal

Available on O2 & Vodafone

The Connected Hub is our innovative and easy-to-use mobile customer portal that allows you to perform self-serving tasks such as adding/removing bars, SIM changes, as well as checking usage.  This service is available for O2 and Vodafone customers only.

Dashboard

You will be able to see usage for the services across all SIMs.  The portal displays usage in the current month for domestic & roaming usage, split further into Voice, Data and Events (SMS/MMS) and a summary of each for all numbers in your group is displayed across the top of the screen.

This overview is a summary of the numbers that are contained within your group.  The usage and bars for each user can be viewed by pressing the eye icon:

Bars & Restrictions

Once you have selected the user, you can view their usage and apply or remove any bars as necessary.

For any bars that cannot be accessed, please contact us and we can apply/remove these for you.

Once your SIMs have been provisioned, you will be sent a welcome email with your log in details and a brief user guide.

That’s where we come into our own, by default we offer 1, 2, 4 & 8-hour response times depending on the severity of your issue. However, we also offer immediate support for any major incidents, where we have anaverage response time of 15 minutes.
